Adam Sandler brought a special guest to the special screening of his Netflix movie “Hustle.”

The actor, 55, was joined by his mom Judy at the Philadelphia Film Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the screening of “Hustle” Tuesday, People reported. The film takes place in the city.

Sandler was accompanied by his wife Jackie Sandler at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie held at the Regency Village Theatre on June 1. The pair share two daughters, Sadie, 16, and Sunny, 13.

In “Hustle,” Sandler plays aspiring coach Stanley who scouts for the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers. He struggles to balance his personal life and work, affecting his marriage with his wife, played by Queen Latifah. On the road, he eventually discovers an extraordinary player and brings the phenom back without his team’s approval.

In an interview with KYW-TV during the special screening, the “Murder Mystery” star said they wanted to make the film “as Philly as possible.”

“After I left here, I had no idea about so many things, how beautiful it was, how calm it is on the weekends,” Sandler said of Philadelphia. “Everybody’s kind of in a good mood, a lot of together, fun feelings of just good to have kids running around. Restaurants were great. People were great. Great energy.”

The “Blended” actor also made an appearance on “Good Morning America” Monday to promote his newly released Netflix flick, during which he debuted a brand new black eye.

“I was in bed, in the middle of the night and, you know how they tuck in your sheets at the bottom, some people? Somebody tucked in the sheets too much and I had my phone in the middle of the bed,” Sandler said. “I kicked my feet up to untuck it, the phone went flying, hit me in the head. I refused to acknowledge it. I felt blood. I said, ‘There’s something going on, but I gotta sleep.’ Kept sleeping and woke up and then….”

He jokingly added, “It looks so cool. And I’m on the streets of New York, I see people going, ‘Oh, okay. He likes to fight, that guy.’ I’m like, ‘It was a bed accident.'”

“Hustle” also stars Ben Foster, Heidi Gardner, Robert Duvall, Kenny Smith, Anthony Edwards and Tobias Harris. It is directed by Jeremiah Zagar, while NBA star LeBron James serves as a producer through The SpringHill Company.

    “Hustle” currently streams on Netflix.
