The AFL Players’ Association has revealed all of the contenders in line to take out the 2022 MVP awards.
The players’ union on Sunday released the nominees for the MVP, best first-year player and most courageous awards.

Three players from each club were put forward for the MVP Award, which took place over a two-stage voting process. Players nominated their teammates in stage one before selecting from a competition-wide field in stage two.
The nominations from minor premiers Geelong were dominated by the key forwards, with Jeremy Cameron and Tom Hawkins joining Mark Blicavs in the list of nominations.
Brownlow Medal fancies Lachie Neale, Christian Petracca, Patrick Cripps, Clayton Oliver were all nominated.
Collingwood young gun Nick Daicos was not only nominated for best first-year player, but was one of Collingwood’s three MVP nominations.
The AFL Players’ Association awards will be announced at the AFL awards on Wednesday August 24.
The 40-man squad for the 22under22 team was announced a fortnight ago.
