New Zealand Cricket Team suffered a massive defeat against India in the 2nd ODI. The Men in Blue bundled out Black Caps for a paltry 108 runs and chased down the target in 20.1 overs. Mohammed Shami was the wrecker in chief who took 3 wickets for 18 runs in his 6 overs spell.
New Zealand batters looked in all sorts of trouble during the power-play overs where they managed to score only 15 runs and lost 4 wickets. Apart from Glenn Phillips not a single batter scored 35 odd runs where the batters looked in two minds whether to attack or defend which hurt the team.

Mohammed Shami on Work-load Management
Mohammed Shami was having an interaction with media and was asked about work-load management. “I always prefer playing matches over practice. It is always better to play maximum number of games to get ready for a big event. Load is being managed and it is being managed properly. I just hope the main players stay in a good zone (ahead of the World Cup)” said Mohammed Shami.

Great Triumph for India
The Men in Blue made a resounding statement after a hard fought victory in 1st ODI. It was a collective effort from the bowlers where there was no respite for the Kiwi batters. It would be interesting to see whether Rohit Sharma makes any changes into the 3rd ODI.
There are chances that New Zealand may bring back Ish Sodhi if fit as the leg spinner has the knack of breaking partnerships. The management needs to have some serious conversations with the players as such sort of performance can demoralize the team.
