Bella Hadid lost her passport and had to make a new one before heading for a show at the Paris Fashion Week earlier this week.
Hadid walked the ramp at the Balenciaga Couture show held as part of Paris Fashion Week 2022 on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old fashion model shared a series of photos from the balcony of a building Wednesday. She can be seen wearing a white crop top and jeans with a black jacket on top. Hadid also donned futuristic-looking sunglasses that grabbed most of the attention.
The model wrote that she lost her passport before the show and got a new one.
“Lost my passport. got a new passport. landed at 530am. shoot at 7. show at 12. Made it by the skin of my teeth,” she wrote, along with photos of the Eiffel Tower clicked through her window.
Many celebrities congratulated the model for making it to the show.
Model Devon Carlson commented, “SHE MADE IT,” while British visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen wrote, “and you looked so calm.” Hip-hop stars Yung Miami and JT from City Girls band commented, “Can I borrow your glasses?”
Hadid donned a green outfit when she walked the ramp Wednesday. Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa also attended the show.
Hadid had earlier opened up about her insecurities while growing up, noting that she wasn’t “cool” as her elder sister Gigi Hadid.
“I was the uglier sister. I was the brunette. I wasn’t as cool as Gigi, not as outgoing. That’s really what people said about me,” Bella told Vogue before sharing how criticisms took a toll on her confidence.
“When you get told things so many times, you do just believe it. I always ask myself, how did a girl with incredible insecurities, anxiety, depression, body-image issues, eating issues, who hates to be touched, who has intense social anxiety—what was I doing getting into this business?” Hadid said.
Hadid shared that she became a “good actress” over time. People might comment on her looks, walk and acting but in the last seven years, she said she “never missed a job, canceled a job, was late to a job.”
