The Baltimore Ravens will attempt to halt a trend when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football. Baltimore (4-3) has alternated wins and losses over its first seven games this season and seeks back-to-back victories for the first time in 2022 after edging Cleveland at home last Sunday. The AFC North-leading Ravens also are trying to record their fifth consecutive victory in the all-time series with the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay (3-4) still sits atop the NFC South standings despite having lost four of its last five contests, including a 21-3 setback at Carolina in Week 7.

Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay is a two-point favorite in the latest Buccaneers vs. Ravens odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points scored is 46. Before making any Ravens vs. Buccaneers picks, you need to see the NFL predictions and betting advice from the computer simulation model at SportsLine.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 148-107 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has set its sights on Buccaneers vs. Ravens and just locked in its picks and TNF predictions. You can visit SportsLine now to see the model’s picks. Here are the NFL odds and betting lines for Ravens vs. Buccaneers:

    • Buccaneers vs. Ravens spread: Tampa Bay -2
    • Buccaneers vs. Ravens over/under: 46 points
    • Buccaneers vs. Ravens money line: Baltimore +115, Tampa Bay -135
    • BAL: Ravens are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games versus teams with losing records
    • TB: Buccaneers are 1-8 ATS in their last nine contests played on Thursday

    Why the Ravens can cover

Despite emerging victorious against the Browns, Baltimore is hoping for a stronger passing performance from Lamar Jackson this week. The 2019 NFL MVP had only 16 pass attempts in the win, completing nine for 120 yards while finishing without a touchdown pass for the first time this season. Jackson still is a major factor in the team’s ground attack, however, as he is the league’s fifth-leading rusher with 510 yards after gaining 59 versus Cleveland.

The 25-year-old Jackson leads the NFL with an average of 7.7 yards per carry and has had four runs of 20 or more yards. Baltimore is fifth in the league in rushing at 156.3 yards per game and ranks in the top 10 against the run with an average of 105.1 yards allowed. The Ravens should improve that number this week against a Tampa Bay team that is rushing for a league-low 64.4 yards per contest. See which team to back here.

    Why the Buccaneers can cover

In the loss to the Panthers, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady failed to throw a touchdown pass for only the fourth time in 40 regular-season contests with Tampa Bay, but extended his streak of games without an interception to six.

The 45-year-old Brady is sixth in the NFL with 1,942 passing yards and fell 10 shy of posting his third 300-yard performance in four contests last Sunday. He completed nine passes to Mike Evans, who came up four yards short of 100 and dropped what would have been a 64-yard touchdown pass on the third play of the game. The 29-year-old Evans had a 64-yard catch the last time he faced the Ravens in 2018, when he finished with 121 yards on four receptions. See which team to back here.

How to make Buccaneers vs. Ravens picks

SportsLine’s model is leaning Under the total, calling for 45 points. It also says one side of the spread cashes in over 50% of simulations. You can only get the model’s TNF picks at SportsLine.

So who wins Ravens vs. Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football? And which side of the spread cashes over 50% of the time? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the Ravens vs. Buccaneers spread to jump on, all from the advanced model that is up almost $7,000 on its NFL picks, and find out.
