After Australia dominated the pool, attention well and truly has now switched to the track and field and the velodrome.
Australia’s cycling team will be going for gold in the men’s and women’s individual time trials.
But it’s not just on the wheels where Australia’s athletes will be trying to make inroads, with the Diamonds in action in the netball from 6pm in a crucial match against Jamaica. Early on, both countries are going goal for goal after the Jamaicans ran out to an early lead.
Eleanor Patterson will also be jumping in the high jump from 8:05pm AEST.
From diving to lawn bowls, badminton and table tennis, there is plenty to come on an interesting day ahead.
