After a heated and dramatic official press conference on Friday, Saturday morning’s (10am AEDT) weigh-ins for the George Kambosos Jr. lightweight world title rematch with Devin Haney are set to be explosive.
After a quieter build-up this time around, Kambosos ended his self-imposed exile on Friday with a war of words with his American rival, who took the belts in their June title showdown.
Haney (28-0, 15KO) and Kambosos Jr (21-1, 10KO) will step up to the scales to make the fight official – though Kambosos is confident he won’t need a second weigh-in attempt like last time, after coming in over the limit on the first try for that bout.
