Hawthorn list boss Mark McKenzie says the club is yet to receive a trade request from midfielder Tom Mitchell.
Mitchell is understood to be seeking a move despite being contracted until 2023, with Hawthorn also open to the possibility of a trade.
Still, despite reported interest from Collingwood, the Brownlow medallist is yet to officially ask for a move, McKenzie said.

“Tom’s a contracted player,” he told AFL Trade Radio.
“There’s been no trade request or anything like that and that’s really where it sits at this point in time.
“We haven’t gone through any hypotheticals from (Collingwood’s) end, the facts that we know (are) there hasn’t been anything significant come forward or anything from that regard.
“It’s more speculation … but the facts are he’s contracted and there’s been no trade request at all.”
From an acquisition standpoint, McKenzie confirmed the club had interest in Fremantle ruckman Lloyd Meek.
Meek, 24, is contracted until the end of 2023, but is understood to be keen on a trade as his hopes for time in the senior squad could take a hit with the arrival of Luke Jackson.
“There’s definitely some interest in Lloyd, as happens every year with the ruck merry-go-round,” he said.
“He’s a contracted player, so that sits with Freo. We’ve got some interest, there might be some discussions over the next week and a half, but he’s a contracted player.”

In the midfield, McKenzie also confirmed the Hawks had interest in Jack Bowes, who is contracted for two more years at Gold Coast but is being put up for trade by the Suns along with pick No.7 in an effort to clear cap space given Bowes’ heavily-backended contract.
“From our point of view, that midfield area is important for us to find that right mix and Jack brings a little bit different with the way that he plays,” McKenzie said.
“Definitely some interest, positionally, and obviously the right age from our group that’s coming through, the age demographic fits as well. We’ll explore that avenue and see where that goes.”
Hawthorn made the first move of free agency on Friday by signing Karl Amon from Port Adelaide on a four-year deal.
