The wait is over as Olive Garden is finally bringing back its Never Ending Pasta Bowl after three years of discontinuing the promotion.
For 2022, the Never Ending Pasta Bowl will serve up unlimited pasta for the price of $13.99, plus another $4.99 for meat options that include meatballs, Italian sausage, or crispy chicken, according to Restaurant Business.
Pasta options available include fettuccine, spaghetti, rigatoni, and angel hair, with sauce selections of alfredo, creamy mushroom, traditional marinara, five cheese marinara, and traditional meat sauce, the news outlet said. And unlimited breadsticks, soup, and salad are also included with the offer.
The pasta deal will be available starting on Monday and will run through Nov. 20. A countdown clock for the offer is already on the Olive Garden website.
In 2019, the last time that Olive Garden ran the limited-time deal, it sold the Never Ending Pasta Bowls for $10.99. The Italian restaurant chain has run the promotion 25 times since 1995, but discontinued it during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Olive Garden teased the return of the Never Ending Pasta Bowl on TikTok in a series of videos, officially making the announcement about the promotion on Thursday, Food & Wine reported.
In a statement obtained by Food & Wine, Jaime Bunker, Olive Garden’s senior vice president of Marketing, said: “After a couple years of our guests asking for its return, we are delighted to bring back our fan-favorite Never Ending Pasta Bowl offer.
“The offer, now in its 25th year at Olive Garden, is one of the most popular in our company’s history, because it reflects exactly what our loyal guests expect when they dine with us: never-ending, abundant, craveable Italian food at an everyday value. We’re thrilled to celebrate this moment with them, and with pasta lovers everywhere,” he added.
In December 2021, during an earnings call, Rick Cardenas, the president and CEO of Olive Garden’s parent company Darden Restaurants, said the chain had decided to “reduce the dependency” on the Never Ending Pasta Bowl because it was gaining a number of customers without offering it.
