There is something wrong with Jaune Arc’s aura as it is draining at a rapid pace in “RWBY: Ice Queendom” Episode 3.
The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 3 titled “A Nightmare Comes.”
Team JNPR is battling with a situation as its leader named Juane’s mind is captured by Grimm.
Shion Zaiden appears and explains she is a Nightmare Hunter. She reveals Nightmare is a type of Grimm that catches onto humans and grows by feeding into their Aura.
Jaune is attacked by Grimm and asks the other team members if they are willing to enter into the dream and face the Grimm.
Jaune’s body has become a breeding ground for the demon. Only close friends of the possessed can carry out the task. If a stranger attempts to enter, the heart will reject them.
Shione is impressed when Team JNPR is able to quickly get in touch with Jaune and start the next phase of the rescue mission.
Elsewhere, Weiss is not able to understand why Ruby was not chosen as the leader.
“Young boys and girls wanting to become Huntsmen gather to attend Beacon’s entrance ceremony. As everyone gathers, a shy Ruby is being urged by Yang to make friends. However, after being dismissed by Blake and angering Weiss, she gets depressed,” read the official synopsis of “RWBY: Ice Queendom” Episode 2, as per Crunchyroll.
The ending theme song of the anime is titled “Awake” and is performed by Saori Hayami. The opening theme song is titled “Beyond Selves” by Void_Chords feat. L.
The anime is based on the original work by Monty Oum and huke. Kenjiro Okada is credited as the chief director while Toshimasa Suzuki is the director of the series.
The series composition and scripting are handled by Tow Ubukata.
“RWBY: Ice Queendom” Episode 3 is scheduled to broadcast Sunday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
The anime is titled “RWBY: Hyōsetsu Teikoku” in Japanese.
