The Punjab-born batter Shubman Gill smashed 116 runs off 97 balls, with 14 fours and 2 sixes. It was his second century for India in 50-over cricket in his 18th innings.
Meanwhile, the modern-day batting great Virat Kohli displayed his class once again and registered his 46th ODI century and overall 74th century in international cricket. He slammed 166* runs off 110 balls, including 13 fours and 8 sixes.

In that match, while batting first, West Indies were bowled out for 104, and India chased it down with nine wickets to spare and 211 balls remaining. That was India’s biggest ODI victory while batting second in terms of balls remaining.
