The latest “The Kardashians” Season 2 teaser trailer showed a steamy interaction between Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
In the video officially released by the show on social media, the 41-year-old reality star got flirty with her 28-year-old beau by inviting him to the shower.
“Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?” the Skims founder said in the clip, causing her sister Khloe Kardashian to get shocked. In response, the comedian quickly tossed his phone in the air and ran to join his girlfriend in the bathroom.
The scene marked Davidson’s first “on-camera” appearance on the show, despite getting advice from his inner circle that he should not appear in the series. A source relayed to Page Six that the comedian’s pals told him any guest appearance would “blow up” any sense of normalcy in his life.
“His career has taken off, what does he need this for?” the source said.
Davidson has a bunch of projects on the line, including a biographical film about the late American musician Joey Ramone, a rom-com with “SNL” co-star Colin Jost, and a sneaker flick named “American Sole.”
“Before he met Kim, no one knew what Pete was doing [all the time],” the source further explained.
However, a second source denied that Davidson wasn’t allowed to participate. “He feels no pressure to be in the show. Neither do the people around him. If it happens that he’s on the show, it happens,” the tipster noted.
Aside from Kim’s brewing romance, the teaser also showed a glimpse of events filled with more drama, romance, and tears.
The trailer showed Khloé, 38, trying to cope with her previous relationship; Kourtney Kardashian, 43, choosing a dress for her wedding with fiancée Travis Baker, 46, and Kendall Jenner, 26, helping her sister Kylie Jenner, 24, deal with her second baby.
The video also featured Kris Jenner dropping a shocking revelation about her health condition. A scene showed the 66-year-old TV personality lying in a hospital bed.
“I can’t tell my kids. I’m scared,” Kris said. “They have enough problems. They don’t have to worry about Mom.”
The teaser also showed Kim and Khloé addressing Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna’s lawsuit for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic damages. Chyna sued the family for over $100 million back in 2017.
“She’s suing us for over 100 million dollars, and we’re leaving our fate in the hands of 12 random people. What if they hate us?” Khloé fearfully said.
The Season 2 teaser trailer was posted on the official Twitter account of “The Kardashians.” The new installment will premiere on Sept. 22 on Hulu, Disney+ (international), and Star+ (Latin America).
While waiting for the release of Season 2, you can still catch up with “The Kardashians” Season 1 on Hulu.
