TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner is one of the richest women in the world today at age 24.
For the fifth year in a row, Forbes hailed Jenner as the youngest on its list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women that saw the fortunes of the 100 richest and most successful women in the U.S.
As per the outlet, Jenner’s current net worth stands at $600 million, down from $620 million last year.
Jenner ranked No. 41 on this year’s list, up from No. 51 in 2021 though Forbes estimates that her net worth decreased by about $20 million from a year ago “partly due to the drop in values of cosmetics firms.”
The bulk of her wealth comes from her makeup line Kylie Cosmetics, which launched in 2015 when she was just 18.
In early 2020, she sold a 51% stake in the company to publicly-traded Coty for $600 million, but she only received $340 million after taxes.
In 2021, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” alum added another venture to her brands with the launch of Kylie Swim.
In the same year, she launched Kylie Baby, which offers skincare and haircare products for babies and kids up to age 10.
Another factor that plays into Jenner’s net worth is her Instagram sponsorships. She is one of the most-followed people on the platform, with 349 million followers.
Jenner was named the youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes for two years in 2019 and 2020.
However, she was booted off the Forbes billionaire list in 2021. The outlet reported Kylie Cosmetics was “significantly smaller and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes to believe.”
She was later estimated to be worth around $900 million and not $1 billion.
Three years later, the youngest in the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan made it to America’s Self-Made Richest Women list.
The reality star has two kids with her boyfriend Travis Scott — daughter Stormi Webster and a baby boy whose name has not been revealed yet.
