St Kilda faces off with Sydney to close out the AFL’s home and away season as the Swans look to push back into the top two.
The Saints (11-10, 10.1%), as unlikely as it clearly is, remain a mathematical chance of climbing back into the top eight. St Kilda sits a game and 8.8 per cent behind Carlton and on equal points to the Western Bulldogs, so would need both clubs to suffer heavy losses and beat Sydney by a big margin too.
The Swans (15-6, 128.3%) are up and about after ending Collingwood’s 11-game winning streak last week, and if they can defeat the Saints and make up their 2.2 per cent of Melbourne, move back into the top two.
