Global leak-proof brand, Modibodi has extended its biodegradable period and pee-proof briefs range with the introduction of two new colours, black and mulberry purple.
After the successful launch of the world’s first biodegradable leak-proof briefs in January this year, Modibodi is expanding its bio product offering to help reduce the effect that textile waste has on the planet.
Using a combination of natural and bioengineered synthetic textiles, these briefs are 97% biodegradable. With most of the product being made from plant-based fabrics, once it reaches end of life (approx. 100 washes) the briefs will start to degrade in active soil within four to six weeks. In three to five years, Modibodi’s biodegradable briefs will have completely broken down.
The Modibodi Biodegradable Bikini Briefs are fitted with leak-proof protection, perfect for moderate to heavy periods and light to moderate bladder leaks or discharge. They are available now in mulberry purple, black and ocean blue in sizes 6 to 18 for RRP $42.50.
The Modibodi Biodegradable Full Briefs are soft to the touch and have a luxe feel, while offering leak-proof protection for moderate to heavy periods by holding up to 15ml. They are available now in mulberry purple, black and ocean blue in sizes 8 to 20 for RRP $45.50.
