“It is a very demanding discipline. You have to be in really good shape, have a lot of strength, a lot of energy and push well. Today our rivals really trampled us hard and thanks to that they won these duels.”
The ‘Swampions’ league is now in it’s sixth year
with 22 men’s and 6 women’s teams competing
[Kamil Niewinski, Referee]
“Behind us, the mud league tournament is taking place. Teams have come not only from all over Poland, but also from across our eastern border (Ukraine). So far, the competition has been held in a sporty atmosphere. As far as I know, it is treated more as recreation and fun, but there is also a competitive aspect. Lots of goals are scored. There are both men’s and women’s teams. The women are fighting hard, they don’t put their feet up.”
