Ollie Henry should get to Geelong in exchange for pick 25 as it’s a fair price according to Fox Footy experts, as the young forward wants to return home and play alongside his brother Jack.
Henry found himself out of favour at Collingwood this year, and fell down the pecking order behind the likes of Ash Johnson, while ex-Lion Dan McStay is also looming in 2023.
The Cats coughed up a host of picks to Brisbane late on Friday afternoon to secure a better first pick at 25, which is expected to be on-traded to the Pies for Henry.

“I’d say it gets done,” Fox Footy’s Brad Johnson said.
“You can understand the disappointment from Collingwood fans because we can see the class from what he’s produced already. And with development and years, that will become more consistent.
“They’ve (Collingwood) still got some great young players in the forward half already.
“I think (Henry) sees himself down the pecking order at the moment. If he stays at Collingwood, it would be up to him to jump four or five players that are playing before him.

“A full pre-season can do that for a young player … but at the moment he’s probably fourth or fifth in the order.”
Geelong paid pick 18 for GWS’ Tanner Bruhn, who was picked higher in the same draft as Henry, and has played more AFL games.
Henry had been in great form between rounds 8 and 12 before making way for Johnson late in the season.
He had 18 marks inside 50, 10 forward 50 ground ball gets, 24 shots on goal and 11 goals.
His best performance for the year came as the medi sub in Perth against the Dockers.
After coming on at half time to replace Mason Cox in the wet, Henry kicked four goals in just two quarters from 13 disposals.
“If he wants to get home and play with his brother, you can see from Geelong’s perspective they’re sitting back right now going: ‘OK, it’s a straight swap’,” Ben Dixon said on Trading Day.
“Their system right now, you wouldn’t mind being in Geelong.”

Henry has played 25 games for the Magpies since being snapped up with pick 17 in the 2020 draft.
Ex-Cat Jimmy Bartel says he doesn’t think pick 25 will be enough to satisfy Collingwood, with predictions the Pies could wait and see if Geelong snare pick 7 in the Jack Bowes deal from the Gold Coast.
“I don’t think pick 25 for (Ollie Henry) will get it done. A first-round pick or future first round pick is what I think Collingwood will be seeking,” Bartel said on Sportsday Radio.
Fox Footy’s David Zita said Geelong were “very keen to hang onto the pick 7” if they can snare it from the Gold Coast as expected.
