Prince William shared a heartwarming family photo to celebrate Father’s Day.
On Saturday, Kensington Palace released an adorable photo of the Duke of Cambridge, who turns 40 next week, with his three children with wife Kate Middleton: Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
Prince William is all smiles in the shot, with Princess Charlotte and Prince George sitting on either side of him and his youngest child hitching a ride on his shoulders. All three kids are seen laughing in the snap.
The shot was taken during a family vacation in Jordan last fall, according to People. Kate Middleton was noticeably missing from the snap, giving her husband and their children their own moment.
“Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to fathers and grandfathers across the world today!” read the caption of the photo posted to Instagram and Twitter.
Royal fans flooded the comments section with sweet messages for the Duke of Cambridge and gushed over the adorable photo of him and his children.
“It shows on their faces how much they love their dad and it shows on Prince William’s face how much he loves being their dad. Happy father’s day,” one Twitter user commented.
“Happy father’s day to an amazing dad and future king. Your kids are indeed blessed to have someone as amazing as you in their lives. Hope you enjoy your day,” another added.

Prince William previously shared how being a dad changed his life when he spoke with English former professional soccer player Marvin Sordell for a 2020 BBC documentary called “Football, Prince William and our Mental Health.”
Before sharing his experience, Sordell told the future king that he found fatherhood “the hardest time in my life” because he grew up without his dad.
“Having children is the biggest life-changing moment, it really is…I think when you’ve been through something traumatic in life, and that is like you say, your dad not being around, my mother dying when I was younger, the emotions come back, in leaps and bounds,” Prince William said, Town & Country reported.
The royal also gave a glimpse of how he and his wife support each other through one of the “scariest” moments of their lives.
“Me and Catherine particularly, we support each other and we go through those moments together and we kind of evolve and learn together,” Prince William added. “I can completely relate to what you’re saying about children coming along, it’s one of the most amazing moments of life, but it’s also one of the scariest.”
