Fresh from giving birth to her twin babies, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon dropped the trailer for the upcoming episode of “Mama June: Road to Redemption” on social media, saying things are about to get very emotional.

On Tuesday, the 22-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share the new teaser for their We TV show. She hinted in the caption that the episode would be heartbreaking, telling fans to “grab a tissue or two because you don’t want to miss this week’s episode of ‘Mama June.’”

The trailer featured a montage of clips from the episode, and most of them focused on Pumpkin’s confrontation with her controversial mom. Based on the clip, Pumpkin will stand her ground when Mama June, 42, tries to get Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 16, to live with her again.

One scene showed Pumpkin discussing with her husband Josh Efird, 25, her shock when she found out that Mama June just moved near their home. Pumpkin then mustered the courage to confront her mom and drove to the latter’s new house.

“I see you found me,” Mama June told her daughter, before adding that Alana can stay with her now since she lives close by.

However, Pumpkin made it clear to her mom that Alana would never stay at her new place because her younger sister is with her now.

“Alana is not staying here. Get that to your thick f—king skull. I’m her mama now,” Pumpkin responded.

At one point in the trailer, Pumpkin sought advice from her aunt and Mama June’s sister Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon, saying Honey Boo Boo “wants her mom so bad, but  it just can’t happen.”

According to Pumpkin, she does not want her younger sister to get hurt anymore after what they went through when Mama June abandoned them in 2019.

The trailer ended with Pumpkin and Josh opening up to a therapist about their whole situation with Mama June. Pumpkin broke down in tears while saying that she’s “happy but I’m not happy” while discussing her decision to file for sole custody over Alana.

Josh admitted that he’s been going through the motions. While battling tears, he told his wife that they really need to let go of Mama June. Josh then got a hug from the entire family at the end of the clip.

The post quickly received a lot of reactions from fans, with many of them praising Josh for supporting his wife amid the messy situation with Mama June.

“Josh is the greatest thing that has ever happened to your family,” one wrote.

“You are doing what’s right for you and your family. Sometimes you have to cut the toxicity out,” another commented.

“Josh is literally the most amazing man [with] the way he treats Pumpkin and her sisters,” a different user added.

Pumpkin shared the teaser just a day after she confirmed via an exclusive interview with The Sun that she and Josh welcomed twin babies on May 19. The couple had fraternal twins, and they named the boy Sylus Ray and the girl Stella Renae.

“Mama June: Road to Redemption” airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EDT on We TV.
