Joseph Quinn, who is popularly known for playing Eddie Munson’s character in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” jammed with Metallica band members, including James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich at the Lollapalooza music festival.

Netflix took to Twitter over the weekend to share a clip featuring the 29-year-old actor meeting the band members, talking to them and also having a jamming session backstage. The video was shot during the music festival at Grant Park in Chicago. The event started on July 28 and got over on July 31.

In the two-minute, 19-second video, the actor was seen all excited to meet the band members while he was waiting backstage during the festival. The next scene showed the actor playing guitar with the band members and having fun in the green room.

Hetfield, 58, was also seen complimenting the actor for his height, saying, “You’re taller than on the TV.” Next, the actor sat down with the band members and asked if they like watching “Stranger Things,” to which Hetfield replied that they are “big fan” of the series and noted that he bonds with his kids over this show.

During the conversation, the actor also thanked the band for allowing the series to use one of their popular songs, “Master of Puppets,” which was dropped in 1986. They replied, “Thanks for doing it justice, by the way.”

After the meet-up, the actor shared his experience with Netflix’s Tudum.

“It was amazing! Opportunities to play ‘Master of Puppets’ with the most iconic metal band of all time don’t come around very often,” Quinn said. “A story for the grandkids.”

Quinn made headlines last month when he couldn’t control his tears during a Q&A session held at the ComicCon event. One of the fans praised the actor for making the summer special for his fans during the event, despite being poorly treated by the organizers.

Considering Quinn’s upcoming projects, the actor will be next seen in a drama movie, “Hoard,” which is currently under post-production. He will play Michael’s character in the movie and the flick is helmed by director Luna Carmoon.
