The Roosters have shot out to a 60-6 lead over the Wests Tigers with star second-rower Angus Crichton bagging a double in just four minutes.
It came after the Tigers copped an early blow with Luke Garner being forced from the fielf for a HIA — and then failing it.
Despite the disruption, the Tigers repelled the Roosters several times. But the Roosters finally broke through, scoring five tries in 22 minutes as Fox League’s Michael Ennis summed up their first-half performance as “fautless.”
The Roosters picked up where they left off in the second half, taking just three minutes to get their sixth try of the night. They then piled on another four tries.
“The Tigers have no answers,” Ennis said.

MATCH PREVIEW
The Roosters have well and truly clicked into gear and are chasing their sixth straight win when they host the Wests Tigers at the SCG.
It was only six weeks ago that the Roosters sat 10th and serious question marks were raised about their premiership credentials.
But a five-game winning streak, including an important victory over the Cowboys last week, have the Tricolours not only in the eight but also hitting form at the right time of the year.
The same can’t be said about the Tigers though, who have slumped to last having won just one of their last eight games.
That one win though was over a top eight side — the Broncos — proving they do have what it takes to compete on their day.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson has made a key change to his side with Oliver Gildart coming into the 17 to make his club debut. He won’t start at centre though — instead Drew Hutchison will and Gildart will play off the bench.
The Tigers welcome back veteran winger Ken Maumalo, which pushes Starford To’a to the centres and James Roberts out of the side.
