Things looked dour when the Buccaneers trailed 16-3 with 5:34 left in the game, with the Saints facing a 3rd and 1 at the opposing 44-yard line.

But they could not convert on third down, and chose to punt the ball away in a bizarre call – Brady led the Bucs past the 44-yard line, where they would’ve gotten the ball had the Saints failed on fourth down, just a minute later.
It was a particularly bad call by New Orleans coach Dennis Allen because his side is one of the NFL’s best in short-yardage runs, and the Buccaneers are 26th at stopping short-yardage runs.
Brady then led two consecutive touchdown drives, with Cade Otton catching the first and Rachaad White the second (with just three seconds left), to complete the comeback.
The win keeps the Buccaneers well and truly in control of the NFC South – at 6-6, they’re the only team in the division without a losing record.
Brady went 15 of 21 for 125 yards with two touchdowns passing in the fourth quarter.
