The Kansas City Chiefs will try to overcome their nemesis on Sunday Night Football when they take on the Tennessee Titans in a key Week 9 game at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs (5-2) have lost five of the last six matchups against the Titans (5-2), including the last four regular season meetings. That includes a 27-3 loss in Nashville last season. Kansas City has not beaten Tennessee in the regular season since 2013.

Kickoff is 8:20 p.m. ET. Kansas City is a 13.5-point favorite in the latest Titans vs. Chiefs odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points scored is 45.5. Before making any Chiefs vs. Titans picks, you need to see the NFL predictions and betting advice from SportsLine’s advanced computer model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 9 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 148-107 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick’em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has set its sights on Titans vs. Chiefs and just locked in its picks and NFL Week 9 predictions. You can head to SportsLine now to see the model’s picks. Here are several NFL odds and betting lines for Chiefs vs. Titans:

    • Titans vs. Chiefs spread: Kansas City -13.5
    • Titans vs. Chiefs over/under: 45.5 points
    • Titans vs. Chiefs money line: Kansas City -800, Tennessee +550
    • KC: QB Patrick Mahomes leads the league in passing touchdowns (20)

Featured Game | Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans

    Why the Chiefs can cover

Kansas City has an improved pass rush this season. Last year, the Chiefs finished the regular season with just 31 sacks; only three teams had fewer. But this year, led by Chris Jones (five sacks), Kansas City has 19 sacks, which ranks 13th in the league.

In addition, the Chiefs face a Tennessee team whose starting quarterback may be out or limited. Ryan Tannehill missed last week’s game against the Texans with a sprained ankle and sat out Thursday’s practice with the same ailment. Backup quarterback Malik Willis, a rookie, completed just 6-of-10 passes for 55 yards and an interception in his start last week. See which team to back here.

    Why the Titans can cover

Running back Derrick Henry has a history of success against Kansas City. The 6-foot-3, 247-pound Henry has averaged 111.4 rushing yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry against the Chiefs. He has run for more than 150 yards in two of his five games against Kansas City.

In addition, Tennessee faces a Chiefs defense that will not have one of its top players in Frank Clark. A three-time Pro Bowler, Clark will miss the next two games after being suspended for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. He ranks third on the Chiefs in sacks (three) and had been coming off his most productive game of the season, a 1.5-sack effort against the 49ers. See which team to back here.

How to make Titans vs. Chiefs picks

SportsLine’s model is leaning Over on the total, projecting the teams to combine for 49 points. The model also says one side of the spread cashes in more than 50% of simulations. You can only see the model’s SNF pick at SportsLine.

So who wins Chiefs vs. Titans on Sunday Night Football? And which side of the spread hits over 50% of the time? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the Chiefs vs. Titans spread you need to jump on, all from the model on a 148-107 roll on NFL picks, and find out.
