Former President Donald Trump canceled his rally and appearances Friday in Greensboro, North Carolina, as Trump and his son Donald Trump Jr. and his daughter Ivanka Trump are scheduled to testify under oath Friday in New York in a probe of the Trump Organization.

The event’s organizers had cited “unforeseen circumstances” for the postponement, which was first reported by The News & Observer in Raleigh.

A spokesperson for the American Freedom Tour confirmed to local media that the event was postponed for another date that is still to be determined. The American Freedom Tour was announced in May and tickets to the event varied between $9 for overflow seating to more than $3,995. The venue was not announced.

“We are very sorry that due to unforeseen circumstances we are rescheduling the American Freedom Tour stop in Greensboro, NC,” a spokesperson said in an email.

“Your ticket may be used at any American Freedom Tour event in America,” the statement read.

A host of Republican personalities also canceled including Fox News pundits Kimberly Guilfoyle and former New York state judge Jeanine Pirro,  as well as Pinal County (Arizona) Sheriff Mark Lamb and political commentator Dinesh D’Souza.

In January, New York Attorney General Letitia James said that the Trump Organization allegedly used “fraudulent and misleading asset valuations to obtain economic benefits” according to discoveries from her office in an investigation.

The state’s attorney general office has been investigating the company for possible illegal manipulation of the stated valuations of real estate assets.
