Game notes: Game two of the three-game set is a rinse and repeat of night one, same ballpark (Comerica) at the same time (7:10 p.m.) but there is a twist. The Tigers have yet to name a starter for Tuesday night’s game. We do know the White Sox will trot out right-hander Dylan Cease.
Entering his 13th start of the season, Cease carries a career-best 3.14 ERA as the Tigers will look for a bit of revenge on him. In the season’s second game, Cease went five innings, striking out eight in a 5-2 White Sox victory over the Tigers.
