The Ukrainian Armed Forces reportedly struck a hotel in the city of Krasnyi Luch in Luhansk Oblast, killing 100 Russian soldiers.

The strike took place on the night of July 23-24, the Strategic Communications Center reported Monday, according to Pravda.

Ukraine’s forces hit a Russian command post located in the hotel. In an update, authorities said 100 Russian soldiers were killed in the attack, and the death toll might rise as several others were injured.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces on Tuesday destroyed the command and observation post of the 785th separate Special Forces detachment of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, two Russian ammunition depots and a Fagot anti-tank missile system in southern Ukraine.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continued to destroy the armored vehicles of the enemy in the area of execution of tasks in the Donetsk region, Kyiv wrote on Facebook. The statement also said the anti-tankers advanced to the most tank-dangerous directions after getting orders, and destroyed enemy equipment with the accurate fire of anti-tank guided missiles.

Soldiers on the ground said 10 tanks and 15 armored personnel carriers were destroyed.

“The unit is armed with both domestically developed anti-tank missiles and imported types of these weapons,” the statement read [Google Translate showed].

Meanwhile, in another earlier statement, the Strategic Communications Center revealed the total combat losses of the enemy from July 23-24.

“The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Kramatorsk direction. / Russian enemy suffered the greatest losses (of the past day) at the Kramatorsk direction,” the statement read, adding data are being updated. “Beat the occupier! Together we will win! Our strength is in the truth! Strike the occupier! Let’s win together! Our strength is in the truth!”

The country’s defense minister also said in a televised comment that Ukrainian forces have destroyed 50 Russian ammunition depots using HIMARS rocket systems.

“This cuts their [Russia] logistical chains and takes away their ability to conduct active fighting and cover our armed forces with heavy shelling,” Oleksiy Reznikov said, according to Al Jazeera.

However, International Business Times could not independently verify the extent of damage from strikes and the claims made by Ukraine about the death toll.
