The Steam Summer Sale finally has its official start time and date, along with the list of games with hot deals.
The highly anticipated Steam Summer Sale, which offers massive discounts on a wide range of popular games, is happening this week. It will start at 1 p.m. ET, Thursday, according to Valve.
Unlike in the previous years, Valve this time announced the start date and time of the yearly event. Steam, the digital distribution service of Valve, is the largest PC gaming platform in the industry, housing more than 50,000 titles.

Unfortunately, it has not yet revealed the official deals but Steam has announced that a wide range of racing games, battle royale shooter titles and a lot more are included in this year’s sale. Some of these games with hot deals are “God of War,” “Red Dead Redemption 2,” “Dying Light 2” and “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.”
Fans can also get their hands on ” Ghostwire: Tokyo,” “The Sims 4,” “Total War: Warhammer III,” “Cyberpunk 2077,” “Forza Horizon 5,” “WWE 2K22,” “V Rising” and “Core Keeper.” Also, at this year’s Summer sale event, participants can craft special badges and collect Summer trading cards, which will start alongside the sale’s kickoff. It will be a two-week event that will run until July 7.
To hold fans out while the Summer Sale is on, the digital distribution platform currently holds the Steam Next Fest June 2022 Edition. The current event is on until Monday and offers thousands of demos aside from the customary sale on various video games.
The Steam Summer Sale will surely feature massive deals on popular games, however, the platform announced in March that the 95% discount will not be there.
Gamers should prepare since prices could be slashed up to 90% of the video games’ SRP. At last year’s Steam Summer Sale, “Battlefield V: Definitive Edition” was available for only $12.49, “Dark Souls Ill” for only $15, “The Elder Scrolls Online” for only $8 and “Death Stranding” for only $24.
