A sickening head clash left Sydney Roosters star Victor Radley pouring blood from a nasty gash in a nauseating moment against the Broncos on Thursday night.
Radley started the match brilliantly, guiding the Roosters to an early lead against a porous Brisbane defence. But up by 18 in as many minutes, Radley took a hit-up with Brisbane hooker Jake Turpin – only for the two to accidentally slam their heads together.
As Turpin clambered off the 24-year-old, Radley’s bloodied face was revealed – and it looked significantly different than before.

A deep gash above his eye was profusely pouring blood in a constant stream, and when the Rooster sat up his face, hands, and outfit were all smeared in claret.
Radley was taken from the field for emergency treatment, but soon returned to the field, having passed a HIA and with strapping covering six stitches.
“His shorts will certainly need some Napi-San,” Warren Smith said in commentary for Fox League. “His shorts are now red, white, and more red!”
But with two minutes to go in the half, Radley opened up the cut once again on a tackle on Broncos tryscorer Corey Oates, and was sent from the field for more treatment – despite his vocal complaints.
Smith added: “He’s always earned his money the hard way, hasn’t he? Victor the inflictor!”
