Wayne Carey is reportedly set to part ways with Channel 7.
Earlier this month, the 51-year-old was escorted out of Crown Perth when a small bag containing a powdered substance fell out of his pocket.
The dual-premiership North Melbourne captain said the powder was “crushed up anti-inflammatories” used to treat football injuries.

Carey maintains he offered to hand the bag to staff after dropping it at a gaming table.
An investigation from WA Police is ongoing.
Carey was this month stood down from his media roles by Channel 7 and Triple M.
The commercial radio network announced last week Carey will not be returning to the station. Seven has now reportedly come to a final decision in electing not to extend Carey’s contract into the 2023 season.
TV Blackbox reports Carey’s contract with the network expires at the end of the AFL season and will not be renewed.
The report claims Seven is waiting until the conclusion of the ongoing police investigation, but has privately made a decision to move on from the highly-regarded football analyst.
Carey has been stood down from Seven’s AFL coverage following the opening week of the finals after it first emerged he had been banned from all Crown venues.
It has already been confirmed he will not be involved in Seven’s AFL grand final day coverage and as a result has already finished with the network.
Over the weekend Carey also had a public speaking gig cancelled at the last minute.
He was set to be the high profile speaker at the annual St Kevin’s Old Boys grand final luncheon, but his appearance was cancelled.
“There was concern in the room about Wayne being there which we listened to and a decision was made to remove him from speaking at the event,” SKOB president Patrick Mount told the News Corp publication.
“Wayne then left. He acted in an extremely professional and courteous manner the entire time.”
