Prost! Oktoberfest season is upon us, and local beer joints are celebrating. Grab your lederhosen and your stein and check out these upcoming events.

    Best End Brewing Company

This West End brewery is holding a celebration Sept. 22-25 to celebrate not only Oktoberfest, but its three-year anniversary. Enjoy German-themed beer and food, and take part in beer and football-themed games and competitions.

    Tucker Brewing Company

Tucktoberfest is already in full swing, and lasts until Oct. 2. Enjoy the brewery’s classic Tucktoberfest Märzen Lager, stein holding, and more fun Oktoberfest games.

    Halfway Crooks Beer

Festivities are well underway at Halfway Crooks, but don’t worry – you’ve still got some time to catch Bavarian music, food, and beer. The party lasts until Oct. 2.

    Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant

Iron Hill’s special Oktoberfest menu continues through Oct. 2. Try delicious Bavarian foods and Iron Hill’s own interpretation of a classic Oktoberfest lager.

    Elsewhere Brewing

This Grant Park brewery kicks things off Sept. 24 with live polka music, stein holding, chugging, and so much more. Tickets are $25.

    Wild Heaven Beer

Both of Wild Heaven’s taprooms will celebrate Oktoberfest Sept. 24-25. Enjoy German food, music, and of course, delicious beer. The West End location will have traditional German music from 3-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Avondale location will be rocking from 2-4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

    Roundtrip Brewing Co.

Roundtrip Brewing has a slew of activities to take advantage of this Oktoberfest season, including a field day on Sept. 24 starting at 10 a.m., and a small dog race on Sept. 25. Festivities continue throughout next week with stein painting, a stein holding competition, and more. Get your tickets early.

    Red Hare Brewing

This Marietta brewery will be hosting a celebration on Sept. 24 from 2-7 p.m. Enjoy music from the Sawgrass Blues Band, enter your weiner dog in the Dachshund Race, or test your muscles in a stein holding contest.

    Red’s Beer Garden

Wave your Bavarian flag and join Red’s for a weekend of Oktoberfest fun! Beer specials, German food, and giveaways are the name of the game. Festivities start Sept. 30 and run through the weekend. Friday and Sunday are expected to be more chill, but party-goers, you won’t want to miss Saturday.

    Fire Maker Brewing Company

On Oct. 15, join Fire Maker for a smokin’ hot Oktoberfest celebration. Strap on your lederhosen and try German food from Krupana ATL, delicious beer, and more.

    Hippin Hops Brewery

On Oct. 15, Hippin Hops will host Blacktoberfest, dedicated to Black brewing culture. Tickets are $45.
